Albert Whitt Jr. of Akron passed away Monday, Feb. 7 at Druid City Hospital in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 13 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of the Agnew Funeral Home with minister Gwendolyn Glover officiating. Burial will follow in the New Akron Cemetery. The body will lie in state from one hour prior to the time of service. Public viewing is scheduled for Saturday from noon until 4 p.m. Agnew Funeral Home of Greensboro directing.
