Sarah Nelle Steele Coleman, 90, died Friday, May 27 at her home in Demopolis. Born Oct. 9, 1920 in Bibb County to the late James LaFayette and Etha Johnson Steele, she was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Coleman, sisters Lois Cornett, Lucy Dolan and Frances Steel and brothers William Steele, James Steele and I.D. Steele.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 1 at 10 a.m. at Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tommy Carr officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.
