Larry J. Bonds, 78, of Greensboro, died July 1 at his home in Greensboro. He was born Jan. 19, 1932 in Akron to the late Hoyt and Ozema Williams Bonds.

Survivors include his wife, Eloise Broughton Bonds, of Greensboro; daughter, Jacqueline Lee Bonds, of Greensboro; son, Brandon S. Bonds (Angela), of Greensboro; sister, Alice Bonds Dial, of Hixson, Tenn. (Riley); grandchildren, Brandi, Tori and Devin Bonds.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 3, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Kirk Funeral Home Greensboro Chapel with the Reverend Steve Vernon officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel directing.
