Clyde Dickey Bozeman,79, of Evergreen died Friday, July 22 at his home. Graveside services will be held Sunday, July 24 at 5 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery in Evergreen.

Dickey was raised in the newspaper business and worked at the family newspaper, The Evergreen Courant, with his late father, R.G. Bozeman, Sr. and brothers, R.G. (Bob) Bozeman, Jr. and Pace Bozeman.

Dickey was publisher of The Thomasville Times and Choctaw Advocate and worked at the Sumter County Journal. He served as postmaster in Thomasville after selling the Times to his late brother Pace.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Bozeman, Evergreen; two daughters, Becky Hickman of Greenville and Allison Wiggins of Evergreen; one son, Melton Bozeman, Orange Beach, Alabama; one sister, Susan Cook, of Evergreen, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
