Janet Marie Byars , 61, a resident of Prattville died unexpectedly on Friday, July 15. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 23 at 10 a.m. at Prattville Memorial Chapel with Ed Pickle officiating.

Mrs. Byars was preceded in death by her parents, William and Elena Byars and one aunt, Florence Stone.

She is survived by her two brothers, William E. (Debra) Seale and Rusty (Ludie) Byars; two nieces, Janet and Mary Sue Byars; and numerous other extended family members and friends.
