Demopolis put together three separate rallies Friday evening, but still fell just short of getting into the win column for the first time in the Cal Ripken 12U Southeast Regional Tournament. The host team fell to the all-stars from Tallahassee 11-10 to fall to 0-3 in pool play.

The game saw Demopolis down 7-0 in the third inning before a pair of two-run shots cut the deficit to 7-4. Demopolis then loaded the bases with only one out but failed to put another run across.

After Tallahassee charged back out to an 11-4 led, Demopolis rallied with a four-run fifth inning to put itself back in the game.
