Sharon Gaulette Ugas, 54, of Houma, La. died Aug. 13 at 9:30 a.m. A native of Demopolis, she was born July 9, 1957. She is survived by her husband, Rickey Ugas, sons R.J. (Taryn) Ugas of Houma, Bobby (Laura) Ugas of Houma and Dylan Souldier of Houma, daughter Hope Dukes (Robert) Moore of Linden, sisters Connie Teague, Tina Lyons, Terri Sikes, all of Houma and Vikki Hamilton of Winter Springs, Fla., step brother Donald Ugas, stepsister Dawn Bordelon and grandchildren Autumn, Lindsey and Hayden Ugas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rose Goulette.

Funeral services are Wednesday, Aug. 17 at 6 p.m. at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help with funeral expenses.
