Sarah Ann Pritchett Robertson

Sarah Ann Pritchett Robertson was born Sept. 19, 1926 in Vineland. She was a resident of Linden for nearly 70 years before peacefully joining her Lord on Aug. 14 at her son’s home in Huntsville.

Mrs. Robertson was the oldest living charter member of the Linden United Methodist Church and served as Church Treasurer for many years. She was also a member of the Linden Study C.ub and enjoyed traveling with Jim, her grandchildren and Happy Travelers.

She was welcomed to heaven by her husbands, W.C. “Son” Pritchett and Jim Robertson, a son, Tommy Pritchett and two grandsons, Bennett and Matthew Nixon.

She is survived by two sons, Dusty (Suzanne) Pritchett of Huntsville and Bobby (Linda) Pritchett of Woodstock, Ga., a daughter, Ann (Michael) Rishty of Maryland, two brothers, Ed Moore of Florida and Joe (Jean) Moore of Linden, six grandchildren; Jonathan (Julia) Pritchett, Stephanie (Britten) O’Dell, Heather (David) Nixon, Amanda Pritchett, Julie and Sarah Rishty, two great grandchildren, Reilly Nixon and Peyton O’Dell, and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren from her marriage to Jim.

Funeral services were held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden on Thursday, Aug. 18 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Rob West officiating. Burial was at Linden Memorial Park in Linden,.

Active Pallbearers were Thomas Barkley, Billy Pritchett, Jack Pritchett, Jim “Bubba” Pritchett, Jon Pritchett, Mike Pritchett, Woody Pritchett and Johnny Robertson.

Honorary Pallbearers were members of the Wesley Fellowship Class of Linden United Methodist Church.
