Joy Branch Smith, 80, of Faunsdale died Thursday, Sept. 15 at UAB Hospital. Born June 18, 1931 in Hardy, Ark., she was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Robert Branch. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Donald E. Smith of Faunsdale, son Steven Branch of Arkansas, daughter Tina Hardy of Arkansas and two step children, Joy Collins of Demopolis and Ted Smith of Louisiana.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Rosemont Cemetery in Uniontown with the Rev. George McKee officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.

Active Pallbearers include Zack Branch, Jason Branch, Christopher Collins, Marshall Collins, Steve Smith, Scott Smith, Shannon Eskridge, Kyle Eskridge, Mark Smith, Tim Smith, Donovan Smith and Bryan Branch.
