Mr. Fred Douglas Howze, Jr., age 75 of New York, formerly of York, Alabama passed October 4, 2011. Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 15, 2011 at noon at Mt. Herman Baptist Church, York, Alabama. Elder Leonard Townsend will officiate. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Public viewing will be held Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. The remains will lie in state at the church beginning at 11 a.m. at the church. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements.
