George Warren Keeton, 88, of Linden died Tuesday, Jan. 17 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept. 24, 1923 in Cherokee.

He is survived by his daughter, Georgette K. (Stan) Sano of San Antonio, Texas, four sisters, Josephine Bolen of Lancaster, Texas, Ann (Bobby) Hayes, Mary McCullough and Neva (Joseph) Dover of Tuscumbia, brother, Lane Keeton of Tuscumbia and a special grandson, Andrew Benson of San Antonio, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce B. Keeton, and two sisters, Elizabeth Harper and Nadene Horton.

Funeral services were held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 20 at 10 a.m. with Dr. Randy Creel and Rev. Rob Wynne officiating. Burial was at Linden Memorial Park in Linden.

Active Pallbearers were Larry Lewis, Nelson Pepper, Mike Dukes, Avery Seger, Stan Sano and Andrew Benson.
