Nola Daniels Ward, 79, a homemaker of Linden, died Friday, Jan. 20 at Marengo Nursing Home. She was born May 11, 1932 in Hugo. She was a member of the Geneva Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband, William T. Ward Jr. of Linden, son,William T. (Anita) Ward III of Sweet Water, brothers Robert Harold (Marilyn) Daniels of Thomaston and Jasper Otto Daniels of Mobile and grandchildren William Brantley Ward and Tillman LeGrant Ward.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Johnson Daniels and Lola Mae Cannon Daniels, brothers Roland Kennedy Daniels and Sammy Chesley Daniels and a sister, Marion LeGrand.

Graveside funeral services were held at Geneva Presbyterian Church Cemetery on Sunday, Jan. 23 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Tony Earl Cannon officiating.

Active Pallbearers were Ricky Daniels, Chet Daniels, Aubrey Cannon, Jimbo Ward, Gene Tolbert and Brantley Ward.
