Sarah Ruth York, a resident of Deatsville, Alabama passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 at the age of 60. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home. Funeral services are Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Garner officiating. Interment will follow at Pine View Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. York is survived by her husband, Ed York; mother, Mary Sizemore; daughter, Karen (David) Mosley; sons, Richard Massey, Lewis (Julie) Massey, and William Massey; sisters, Emma (Howard) Glass, Liz (Clyde) Elliott, and Shirley Williams; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons.
