Billy C. Rogers, 82, of Demopolis died Jan. 29 at his home on Jan. 29. Born Oct. 31, 1929 in Meridian, Miss. to the late William Frank and Mildred Crosby Rogers, he was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Compton Rogers, of Demopolis, daughters, Mitzi Lee Rogers of Greenville, S.C., Nancy (Cecil) Radcliffe of Bellamy and Kathy (Ricky) Wing of Daphne, sons Billy M. Rogers of Linden, Douglas Mark of Santa Fe, N.M. and Billy Compton of Denver, Colo. sister Frances Hollingsworth of Orlando, Fla. and Jane Crandall of Anderson, S.C., grandchildren Jason Brian Rogers of Pensacola, Jennifer Radcliffe (Phillip) Barham of Fairhope, Harold Lloyd Wing of Daphne, Joshua Thomas Wing of Daphne and Barrie Rogers Santa Fe, N.M., great grandchildren Mason Landon Rogers of Demopolis, Cooper Grant Barham and Carter Griffin Barham, both of Fairhope.

Graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Jefferson Cemetery with the Reverends Ed Shirley and Daniel Gandy officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.

Active Pallbearers will be Jason Rogers, Mason Rogers, Lloyd Wing, Joshua Wing, Dave Compton and Andy Morgan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jefferson Cemetery General Fund.
