A Vineland man is in the Marengo County Jail following the latest exercise by the 17th Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force.

Saturday, agents with the task Force and the Marengo County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 228 Golden Circle off County Road 55 in the Vineland community.

Antonio Austin, 37, of Vineland was arrested and charged with five counts of Distribution of Controlled Substance.

An undisclosed amount of cash and firearms were seized.

Commander Clint Sumlin said the arrest was the result of an ongoing investigation.
