Sherry Taylor Carpenter, 54, of Forkland, died Feb. 12 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital in Demopolis. Born Sept. 12, 1957 in Hayti, Mo. to Curtis Ray and Betty Clark Taylor, she is survived by her daughter, Taylor Kay Carpenter of Forkland, her parents, her niece, Lauren Kay Taylor of Birmingham, brothers Terry R. (Nathalie) Taylor of Forkland and Curtis Alan (Terri) Taylor of Forkland.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, Feb. 25 at 3:30 p.m. at Forkland United Methodist Cemetery in Forkland with Rev. David Murray officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 3 p.m. Pallbearer is Mr. Gary Phillips of Forkland.
