Demopolis High School Principal Leon Clark was offered a three year contract extension Monday at a special called meeting by the Demopolis Board of Education.

Clark, who arrived at the high school in July of 2009, was offered a three year extension to his original three-year deal which expires this year.

Board attorney Alex Braswell said the new contract is mostly unchanged from the original with some minor modifications. Clark’s $95,000 annual salary will be unchanged but he will be eligible for raises when they are awarded by the State of Alabama.
