Clarence Benjamin “Ben” Lawrence Jr., 40, a clerk of Sweet Water died Tuesday, Feb. 28 at Regency Hospital in Meridian, Miss. He was born Oct. 31, 1971 in Demopolis.

He is survived by his mother, Fannie Lawrence, of Sweet Water, sister, Paula L. (John) Brock of Linden, niece Jessica Brock of Linden, nephew John Parker Brock of Linden and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Benjamin Lawrence Sr. and grandmother Ella Mae Holcomb.
