Funeral Services for Walter “Duke” Akins of Livingston, Alabama will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the Bethel Pine Baptist Church, Coatopa, Alabama.  Rev. Floyd Bell, Pastor. Rev. Floyd James will officiate. Interment will follow in Bucks Chapel Cemetery, Coatopa, Alabama. The remains will repose at the church on Saturday, March 17th beginning at noon. Public viewing will be held Friday, March 16, 2012 beginning at 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements.
