Charles David Wiggins

Charles David Wiggins, 60, of Linden, passed away April 14, 2012 at Prattville Baptist Hospital. He was born March 14, 1954 in Bypro, Kent. Mr. Wiggins was a machine operator at Georgia-Pacific where he was union president for 20 years. He coached baseball for more than 30 years and softball for more than 10 years. He also loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by son, Wes Wiggins and daughter, Emily Wiggins, both of Tuscaloosa; mother, Darlene Wiggins, of Linden; brother, Wayne Wiggins, of Jackson; sister, Debra Wiggins, of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother, Jimmy Fultz, of Linden and brother, Curtis Wiggins, of Seattle, Wash.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Willie Wiggins.
Graveside services were held April 17 at Linden Memorial Park with Rev. Ray Bass officiating.
Active pallbearers were Jerry Fultz, Jeremy Wiggins, Christopher Fultz, Josh Wiggins, Thomas Fultz and Weldon Fultz.
Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
