Library holding classes for job-seekers

Auburn University is offering a free training class on internet research and online resources for job seekers on Friday, June 29 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Demopolis Public Library.
The class will cover the basics of finding jobs online, with topics including setting up email accounts and picking usernames and passwords; best practices for resume writing; resume resources of which you may be unaware; helpful tips for focusing a job search and researching potential employers and demonstrations of account creation and job search in practice.

The Friends of the Demopolis Public Library will provide lunch and refreshments. The class is offered through Auburn University Center for Governmental Services and Broadband USA.
