The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for nine counties, including Marengo, until 4 p.m. Thursday.

Other counties included are: Greene, Hale, Sumter, Autauga, Dallas, Lowndes, Montgomery and Perry.

This includes the cities of Demopolis, Eutaw, Fort Deposit, Greensboro, Linden, Lowndesboro, Marion, Montgomery, Moundville, Prattville, Selma, Uniontown and York.
