Philip Barbour Minor Banks, 86, of Eutaw died Sunday, Sept. 2 at DCH in Tuscaloosa.

He was born Nov. 21, 1925, in Eutaw to the late Ralph and Sarah Minor Banks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Sarah Minor Banks; and two brothers, Ralph Banks Jr. and James O. Banks.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Waller Banks; his daughter, Lucile Crawford of Eutaw; his son, Philip B. (Catherine) Banks Jr. of Addison, Texas; his sister, Sarah B. (Jere) Dodd of Atlanta; and two grandchildren, Ruth Lucile Banks and Philip Banks III.

The funeral was held Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 2 p.m. at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Eutaw with the Rev. Josiah Rengers officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Burial followed in Grassdale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Stephens or Warrior Academy.
