The Linden City Council met Tuesday afternoon and adopted the 2012/2013 budget.

The council was also scheduled to appoint a new school board member, but after a 45-minute executive session based on good name and character, city councilwoman Jan Cannon requested that the council wait until a later date. Cannon oversees education for the council.
