Braswell added as Lloyd & Dinning partner

Tom Boggs and Woody Dinning, partners of Lloyd & Dinning, are proud to announce that Alexander F. (Alex) Braswell has become a partner in the law firm.
Lloyd & Dinning was established in Demopolis in 1947 by Hugh A. Lloyd and Woodford W. Dinning Sr., and has represented clients in Demopolis, Marengo County and the surrounding area for 65 years.
Alex Braswell graduated from the University of Alabama, and earned his law degree from Jones Law School in 2000.
After being admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2000, Braswell moved to Demopolis and joined Lloyd & Dinning as an associate and has practiced law in Demopolis for the past 12 years.
A native of Montgomery, Braswell made many trips as a boy to Marengo and Greene Counties to hunt and fell in love with the area. After completing his education and being admitted to practice law in Alabama, Braswell relocated to Demopolis, along with his wife, Braswell B. Braswell, who is a teacher at Demopolis West Side Elementary School.
The Braswells have two children, Browder and Sasser, who attend U. S. Jones Elementary School and West Side Elementary School. The Braswells are members of the First United Methodist Church of Demopolis, and Alex has been active in the Demopolis Chamber of Commerce as Volunteer of the Year, chairman of Christmas on the River, member of the board of directors and chairman of the Demopolis Chamber of Commerce in 2005.
In addition to practicing law, Braswell has been a part-time assistant district attorney for the 17th Judicial Circuit from 2004 until the present.
