Patricia Diane (Acker) Alich, age 59, of Forkland passed away on Dec. 8 at Brian W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital in Demopolis.

She was born on Jan. 3, 1953, in Demopolis. She was a graduate from Greene County High School in Eutaw. In 1968, she met her soul mate, James Powell Alich Jr. They were married on Jan. 19, 1970. She was deeply loved by those that knew her the best. She will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, James Powell Alich Jr., and her father, Frank N. Acker Sr.

She is survived by two daughters, Jamie Ruth Alich and her boyfriend Chris Gilchrist of Forkland and Heather Diane (Michael) Skelton of Forkland; and four grandchildren, Aidan Riley Skelton, Michael James Skelton, Kayla Michelle McGee and Crystal Haven Miller.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on December 12 at Kirk Funeral Home in Demopolis. The Rev. JD Barnes will officiate over the memorial service. She will be cremated as per her wishes. There will be no burial.
