A car overturned Friday night on Old Springhill Road in Demopolis and came to rest vertically against a pole.

The driver was taken by helicopter to DCH in Tuscaloosa. The wreck remains under investigation, according to Demopolis Police Chief Tommie Reese

Demopolis Police Department, Demopolis Fire and Rescue Department, Amstar and Air Evac responded to the scene.
