Ellis Fred Cochran, 91, of Gallion, died Wednesday, March 6 in his home.

He was born Oct. 30, 1921, in Hulls. He was a retired lift truck operator. He was a member of Linden United Methodist Church and a World War II U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sue V. Cochran of Gallion; sons, Kenneth V. (Jun) Cochran of Nashville, Tenn., and Stephen E. Cochran of Gallion; sisters, Rosie Ashley of Vicksburg, Miss., and Ruth Curry of Modesto, Calif.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were held at Linden United Methodist Church on Friday, March 8 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Ed Shirley officiating.
