Frances Odessa Foshee, 87, of Thomaston died Friday, March 15 at Magnolia Ridge.

She was born Dec. 26, 1925 in Marengo County to the late Richard O. and Ollie Cooper Green.

She is survived by her sons, Don A. (Bonnie) Foshee of Fultondale, Gerald H. (Charlotte) Foshee of Mt. Olive and Charles D. (Debra) Foshee of Clay; sister, Virginia Peters of Pell City; and sisters-in-law, Arvonbell Foshee of Mt. Olive and Ester Foshee of Cullman, seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 18 at Sardis Baptist Church at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Mike Snow officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery. Family received friends from 12-1 p.m.

Her nephews served as pallbearers and her grandchildren were honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sardis Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
