In the most recent Alabama Sports Writers Association baseball and softball polls, Marengo Academy softball remains the only Marengo County team in the top 10 of their respective poll.

The Demopolis Tigers (14-5) baseball team received votes, but not enough to crack the top 10 again.

The Lady Longhorns (15-0) continue to sit atop the AISA softball rankings this week. They have one month of regular season games remaining before the state tournament on May 3-4. They will be going for a fourth straight state championship this year.
