Alvin Noel Watson, 78, of Boligee passed away Monday, April 1 at DCH.

He was born Aug. 28, 1934, in Vigrinia to the late Sam Gray and Mary Ann Stephens Watson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Vernon Watson.

He is survived by his son, Robert S. (Linda) Pearson of Emelle; brothers, Buford Clinton Watson and Leon Artie Watson; 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 3 at Beth Salem Cemetery in Boligee at 11 a.m. with Kenny Overstreet officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Rogers, Jason Pearson, Eric Pearson, Adam Pearson, James Pearson and Joseph Pearson.

Honorary pallbearer will be Brooks Jones.
