LIVINGSTON – The University of West Alabama has been selected to host the first No. 1 Soccer Camp in the state of Alabama from July 7 to July 10. The camp will be opened for boys and girls 9-18 years old.
“I am delighted to announce that we are bringing No.1 Soccer Camps to Alabama for the first time at UWA,” said UWA women’s soccer head coach Graeme Orr. “I believe this will bring excellent specialized instruction and practice to UWA and will be open to anyone looking to attend.”
No. 1 Soccer Camps has been rated by Sports Illustrated as a top camp for kids. The camp offers specialized education for goalkeepers and strikers.
The No.1 Striker Camp and No.1 Goalkeeper Camp programs will be co-directed by the UWA Women’s Soccer Coaching Staff’s Graeme Orr and Hollie Loud, each with years of previous No.1 Soccer Camps experience.
The camp along with facilities like Tiger Stadium, Homer Field House and Pruitt Hall will help boost West Alabama to the forefront of soccer camp locations in the South.
Players interested in registering for the camp can do so through the No. 1 Soccer Camp link on the Women’s Soccer page on UWAathletics.com.
