Linden Police Department D.A.R.E. Officer Sonja Myles was presented with the VFW J. Edgar Hoover Award on Tuesday, April 9.
Billy Drake, of the local VFW Post, presented the award. Linden Police Chief Scott McClure nominated Myles for the award as recognition for the devotion that she has given to the newly started D.A.R.E. Program and the Linden Police Department.
McClure stated that Myles has dedicated many hours to D.A.R.E. and several other programs in the department.
