Eight students from Demopolis will earn degrees this weekend from the University of Alabama.

They will be among the 4,097 degrees awarded during spring commencement Friday-Saturday, May 3-4, on campus.

Demopolis students to earn degrees are:

•Morgan D. Baker, bachelor’s degree

•Brittany P. Barnes, master’s degree

•Brian T. Brooker, bachelor’s degree

•Catherine R. Cameron, bachelor’s degree

•Audrey Gail Hamilton-Shelton, master’s degree

•Calida Joy McCampbell, juris doctor degree

•Connie Lorraine Phillips, master’s degree

•Alexandria Monique Wilson, bachelor’s degree

With this graduating class, UA will have awarded more than 231,000 degrees since its founding in 1831 as the state’s first public university.
