Marengo Academy student wins D.A.R.E. essay contest

Amber Wilkinson of Marengo Academy won first place in the D.A.R.E. essay contest.

The D.A.R.E. Program was for students in the seventh, eighth and ninth grades from three Linden area schools.
The students were asked to write an essay about what they learned from the D.A.R.E. program. Out of 127 entries, Wilkinson won the top honor. She is a freshman at Marengo Academy.
