LIVINGSTON – The University of West Alabama baseball open tryouts scheduled for Saturday have been postponed until June 13 due to inclement weather. The tryouts for graduated high school seniors and junior college transfers will begin at 1 p.m. at Tartt Field.

Each participant in the tryout must provide proof of a medical physical, which should be signed by a physician and dated within the past six months.

Each athlete will also need a signed sickle cell release form. If the participant is under 18, they must have the waiver and sickle cell release co-signed by a parent or guardian.

To participate in the tryout, prospective players must be a high school senior or older and cannot be currently participating in their high school baseball season.
