Mary Carolyn Beck Emmons

Mary Carolyn Beck Emmons, 80, of Linden, died June 9 at Mobile Infirmary.
She was born Feb. 14, 1933, in Half Acre. She was a traffic assistant with Fort James Corporation and a member of the Linden United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Von) Yelverton of Linden, Pamela Duke of Macon, Ga., Gail (Wells) Bozeman of Thomasville, and Jill Doggett of Thomasville; son, Mike (Tammy) Emmons of Linden; sisters, Nell Rose Beverly of Charlotte, N.C., and Eleanor Etheridge of Myrtlewood; brother, Bill Beck of Baton Rouge, La.; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services were held at Campground United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Johnathan Duke, Justin Duke, Von Yelverton III, Jeremy Duke, Pace Bozeman and Reeves Bozeman.
