Signups for the 2013 Demopolis Tigers youth football team are underway, and interested players can sign up at Hibbett Sports in Demopolis.

“Signups are going on right now at Hibbett Sports,” Demopolis youth football board member Mark McVay said. “Practice starts Aug. 5, and we would like to have as many of the players by then as we can.”

Demopolis has teams for players ages 7-12.

McVay added that Demopolis High School will host a camp July 25 from 6-8 p.m., and physicals for the players can be done before the camp.

“Players can get their physicals done at the camp at 5 p.m. before it starts,” he said. “Signups for the camp are at Hibbett as well. The first 50 players to sign up for the camp will also get a free T-shirt.”

The Tigers will play a jamboree game on Aug. 24 and the regular season will start Aug. 31.
