No major damage was reported from Tuesday’s storms, despite at least one resident reporting a possible tornado.

Demopolis Fire and Rescue Chief Tommy Tate said he had received a report of a power line down on Arcola Road, as well as some minor damage on County Road 2, which is outside the Demopolis city limits.

He added that someone probably got a little overzealous in their reporting of the damage during the storm.
