LIVINGSTON – The University of West Alabama Athletic Department revived the UWA Letter Winner’s Club (L-Club) in 2012 and is reminding former student-athletes, coaches and staff that the opportunity to get on board still remains, while current members are encouraged to renew their annual membership.

Dues for the L-Club are $25 per year, with membership running from July 1 through June 30. A Lifetime Membership is available for $1,000. Current student-athletes and graduating seniors will be considered associate members. Graduating seniors will receive the first year of membership free.

“Membership is open to any athletes, coaches, managers, trainers and staff currently or previously involved with UWA athletics,” Athletic Director Stan Williamson said. “We are a family here at UWA and we want everyone who has ever been a part of this family to know they are still included.”

L-Club benefits include Letter Winners’ Club window decal, ID card, an All-Sports Pass good for all UWA regular season home games and an annual update from the head coach of the sport you were involved in. L-Club members are also recognized on the UWA Athletics web site and receive invitations to reunions, golf tournaments, Homecoming and other special events.

An option to purchase an embroidered UWA Letter Winner golf shirt is available for $25.
