Greene County Hospital names new CEO

Elmore Patterson III has been selected to serve as the new Chief Executive Officer and Administrator of Greene County Hospital and Nursing Home.

Prior to joining Greene County Hospital, Patterson served as director of facilities and operations for Gordon Hospital in Calhoun, Ga. He also served as a Medical Service Corps Officer as captain with the United States Army Medical Command.

Patterson holds a Master’s Degree in health service administration from Armstrong Atlantic State University, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration marketing from Savannah State University.

Patterson and his wife of eight years, Shemeca, have a daughter, Victoria Tracee, 4, and a son, Evan Dallas, 1 year old. Patterson enjoys working with his church, spending time with his family, and sports.
