U.S. Rep. Terri A. Sewell will host an Affordable Care Act, commonly called “Obamacare,” workshop next week in Demopolis.

The workshop will feature general information about the ACA and the new health insurance marketplace.

Those is attendance will also hear presentations on how to enroll for healthcare coverage.

“This event will allow the citizens of the 7th Congressional District to learn more about the benefits of the ACA and the various options that are available,” Sewell said. “The health and well-being of my constituents remains a top priority.  This workshop will assist Alabamians in understanding the enrollment process and provide critical information that will help them make more informed decisions about their healthcare.”

The event is part of several ACA workshops Sewell will host through the 7th District.

The workshop will be Tuesday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Bryan Whitfield Memorial Hospital Outpatient Building training room.
