Lloyd Clifton Gainer Jr., 75, of Demopolis, died Thursday, Nov. 7 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital.

He was born Oct. 24, 1938, in Panama City, Fla. To Lloyd Clifton Gainer Sr. and Estelle Breitling. He worked as a lab supervisor at RockTenn.

He is survived by his wife, Levinia Adams Gainer; daughter, Angela G. Smith of Demopolis; son, Lloyd Allen Gainer of Brewton; sister, Marjorie Stackpole of Eclectic; and one grandchild.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, Nov. 9 at 11 a.m. at Demopolis Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Chad Ward officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Visitation was held Friday, Nov. 8 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
