Five new floats featured in COTR day parade

The Steamboat float was one of five new floats in this year’s day parade. It carried the Demopolis High School and Demopolis Middle School choirs.
The Christmas on the River day parade saw five new floats this year.
One new float was a steamboat, which carried the Demopolis High School and Demopolis Middle School choirs.
The other four floats represented the seasons. On the winter float, which was designed to replicated St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, was Trinity Episcopal Church.

The winter season float was designed to look like St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, and Trinity Episcopal members were on the float.
The spring float showed different parts of spring, and friends and families of Alabama Power employees were on it.
The summer float was designed to look like a boat, and Elizabeth Ogden, her children, and vocal students of Laura Clements were on the float.
