Linden City Council rescinds bid on police vehicle

The Linden City Council met Wednesday afternoon and only took action on one item during the meeting.

Following a 38-minute executive session, the council rescinded a bid that they approved in the previous meeting. The bid was to buy a police vehicle from the Moore-Stewart car dealership in Selma. The council gave no indication as to the reason for rescinding the bid.

At the beginning of the meeting, Linden Mayor Charles Moore presented Marengo Academy head football coach Robby James with a framed plaque to congratulate him and his team on an undefeated championship season.
