A man died Tuesday night from injuries sustained in a wreck that happened Monday near Thomaston.

Andrew Lewis, 55, of Safford in Dallas County, died at 11:03 p.m. at DCH Hospital in Tuscaloosa.

Lewis was in a single-vehicle crash Monday afternoon around 3:45. The vehicle Lewis was driving left the roadway, overturned and struck a tree.

The crash occurred on Marengo County 65 about 8 miles east of Thomaston.

Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
