West Alabama women’s tennis extends win streak to double digits
The University of West Alabama women’s tennis team extended its winning streak to double digits by taking care of Ouachita Baptist, 9-0, Saturday at the Delta State Tennis Courts.
With its 10th straight victory, UWA is now 13-2 this season with Indianapolis visiting the Vaughn Tennis Center Friday. OBU dropped to 0-9 this season.
Stanzi Stuijt, Sandra Florez, Natalia Cardenas and Dasha Popova each won in singles. OBU forfeited singles No. 5 and 6. Stuijt and Florez, as well as Cardenas and Popova, won in doubles. Ouachita Baptist forfeited No. 3 doubles.
