DHS tennis cruises past Central, Pleasant Grove
The Demopolis High School boys and girls tennis teams came away with big section wins Thursday in Tuscaloosa.
The boys defeated Central-Tuscaloosa 6-0, while the girls beat Central 8-0 and Pleasant Grove 7-0.
The results against Central for the boys are as follows:

The results against Pleasant Grove for the girls are as follows:
•Meredith Hill won 8-0
•Sarah Culpepper won 9-7
•Anna Ezell won 8-2
•Mary Frances Brown won 8-1
•Katherine Floyd won 8-1
•Hill/Culpepper won 8-2
•Ezell/Brown won 8-6
The Tigers will travel to Hillcrest on Friday for their final regular season match of the season, weather permitting, and Sectionals will be held at Walker High School on April 16 for the girls and April 17 for the boys.
