Joseph Cloyde Williams, 91, of Demopolis, died Sunday, May 25 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital.

He was born April 19, 1923, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Joseph and Grace Leck Williams. He was a retired musician from the Minnesota Orchestra.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanora Young; parents, Joseph and Grace Leck Williams; and brother, Robert L. Williams.

He is survived by two daughters, Sarah Donnell of Corcoran, Minn., and Ruth Madeja of Los Angeles, Calif.; sons, Joe Williams of Minneapolis, Minn., and Ed Williams of Jeffersonville, Ind.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, May 27 at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Demopolis with the Rev. Tommy Carr officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.
