Sarah Frances “Sally” McLaughlin Thomas, 83, of Leeds, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2.

She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bo and Lula McLaughlin; husband, Donald Thomas; grandchildren, Brandon and Patrick James; sisters, Janey Weaver, Marthella Chase, Bette Foley and Linda White; and brother, Buck McLaughlin.

She is survived by her daughter, Melanie (Randy) Dixon; brother, Mickey (Martha) McLaughlin; sister, Becky Clements; brothers-in-law, Buck Weaver, Cecil (Margaret) Thomas; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds on Friday, Dec. 5, at 10 a.m.

Funeral Services will be at Kilgroe Leeds Chapel on Friday, Dec. 5 at 11 a.m. with burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cedar Grove Baptist Church Building Fund.
